What to bring when opening an estate

Check with the Register of Wills or your attorney for the exact list in your situation.

Selling a Mercer County house during probate

Once letters testamentary or letters of administration are granted, the personal representative generally has authority to act for the estate. Before you sign a listing agreement, confirm with your estate attorney that you have authority to sell. I can provide a date-of-death market analysis for the inheritance tax return and a plan for cleanout, repairs, or an as-is sale.

Communities I serve in Mercer County include Grove City, Mercer, Hermitage, Sharon, Greenville, Sandy Lake, and Stoneboro.
